Chaos ensues when the planned schedule is disrupted by the many daily challenges faced
by any business ESPECIALLY when ALL the information needed is not readily available AND accurate.
On the WorkSheet = Daily Diary Schedule = Operations Whiteboard (or Blackboard) ALL of
the operational information is available at the click of a button.
A BRIEF OVERVIEW OF HOW THE WorkSheet WORKS :
Click on the Active button to confirm that driver and bus are OK and that the SHIFT has
departed from the Yard.
Click on the
SHIFT button
to display the trips for that shift, click on a
TRIP/ROUTE
and the detailed
TimingPoints (TPs) are listed. Each and every line of the displays shows the expected time of
departure for that TP, that trip, that shift. Click on the
TimingPoint button
and a GOOGLE MAP (c) will
be displayed which can be zoomed or moved left or right to establish surroundings.
At this level reference to a Street Directory is avoided if a driver needs help with
travel directions because of changing traffic conditions or detours.
Click on the BUS button to either
View details about the allocated bus and remove
this bus from this shift
-OR- if the bus has NOT been allocated, Use the
Graphical screen to select a SUITABLE
bus for this shift.
Exactly the same process available for Buses is available for the Driver.
The Notes can be manually updated with actions that need to be take for a specific shift.
These notes are AUTOMATICALLY updated (with times noted) if any changes are made to
Drivers or Buses. Because of these AUTOMATIC notes BusWise
has all the information necessary for the production of accurate statistics for both
drivers and buses AND
Payslips for Drivers.
